This year flew by, as usual, and so many things happened. I want to share with y’all some of my favorite events in 2019, both in my personal life and around Dallas. This might end up being a long post because it’s so hard to choose my favorites.
The first favorite part of 2019 was seeing my first niece, Mila. Most of my frequent trips home have been based around making sure she starts knowing who I am. It’s been amazing watching how she grows each time I see her.
Another one of my favorite events included the Toast to Life Bootlegger’s Ball for My Resource Center. I had the privilege of attending their Bollywood Ball last year, and both times were such a blast. The ball helps raise money for the My Resource Center, which supports and educates the LGBTQ community.
I was also invited again to the Indie Beauty Expo. It’s always a great time discovering new products and checking out the photo-worthy opportunities. Every year I walk away with dozens of products, and discover my new favorites.
One of the biggest honors this year was being asked to be my brother’s fiance’s bridesmaid. Earlier in the year I found the perfect bridesmaid dress. I just returned home from their adorable wedding shower. And I’m about to head back next month for the Bachelorette party and wedding.
The last thing I loved is the Museum of Memories. It has so many adorable photo opps and nostalgia. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I blasted my feed with photos from the museum.
I hope you enjoyed reading about some of my favorite events in 2019 so far. As usual, make sure to follow me on Instagram for more content. Feel free to leave me a fun comment below. Check back soon to read my next blog post.
